Amber Scoon is a mixed media artist from Pelham, MA. Amber grew up playing in the woods with her two older brothers. She has spent much of the past ten years living, teaching, studying and exhibiting abroad. She received her MFA in painting from American University's two year program in Italy and she is a PhD Candidate at the European Graduate School in Saas-Fee, Switzerland. She currently teaches in the painting department at Syracuse University in Syracuse, NY.
